Margaretta (Judy)'s Story
Life
After LPHS I went to Mt. Sac (as my h.s. grades weren't good enough to get me in anywhere else!). While there I met and married my husband (John B. Caouette) from La Verne. After a 2-year stint in the Army (including Vietnam), Jack returned to school completing his BA at Long Beach State and an MBA at Cal-Berkeley. Citibank Int'l hired him and we moved to Asia (Indonesia and Hong Kong) where we spent the next 10 years. Along the way we had our daughter (Tristen, now 34) and our son (Brian, now 27). Brian was born in Hong Kong. Citibank then transferred us to New York where we lived for 20 years. It was here that I returned to school earning my BA, MA, and Ph.D. from New York University. I worked in a NY-area university as a professor for 10 years. Another surprise came along when we were asked to move to London -- which is where we lived for five years. Amazing place.

ay 5, 2003. We are thrilled that our family is growing with the addition of this gorgeous baby. Our son, on the other hand, says he's too young and has too much to do so isn't interested in marriage any time soon. Brian lives and works in Portland, Oregon.
I still miss California and hope to return someday...probably to the Northern California area.
As of January 1, 2005 -- we've returned to California. Now living in San Francisco...which is where we lived 33 years ago. Love it here. The only problem is that our daughter, son-in-law, and grandbaby live in the Boston area...meaning that we're on planes a good deal of the time!
As of July 1, 2005 -- our daughter is expecting grandbaby #2 -- due end of January. The family is growing and we're thrilled!
School
After LPHS went to Mt. Sac. Did a 2-year degree in 3 years! Left school for many years and didn't return until 1982. Did my undergraduate at Pace University and my Master's and Ph.D. at New York University.
